Welcome to Preventive Medicine 2009 featuring the “The Value of Prevention”, where some of the nation’s leading experts will update nearly 900 attendees from all walks of preventive medicine and general public on the latest advances in disease prevention and health promotion.  In addition, Preventive Medicine will include a free day-long, consumer-engagement event “Healthy Aging: The Value of Prevention” This program will include 30 minute consumer focused presentations and question and answer sessions during each program. Nationally recognized faculty will present each session adding to the interest among local attendees.   

Preventive Medicine 2009 will offer an excellent opportunity to showcase your products and services to leaders in the preventive medicine and public health fields as well as consumers in the Los Angeles area! This unique opportunity should not be missed!

About Preventive Medicine 2009 

Preventive Medicine 2009, the annual meeting of the American College of Preventive Medicine is the premier event for professionals in disease prevention and health promotion. The meeting advances the science of preventive medicine through state-of-the-art educational programming and abundant networking opportunities.   

In conjunction with Preventive Medicine 2009, the American College of Medical Quality will hold its annual meeting, Medical Quality 2009, and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research will hold its annual meeting Teaching Prevention 2009.

Conference events have been structured so attendees have enough time to network and visit exhibitors. Each day, morning and afternoon breaks will be served in the exhibit hall, providing exhibitors with the opportunity to interact with conference attendees, and showcase its products and services. In addition, the Opening Reception and Poster Presentation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2009 in the exhibit hall. Networking breakfasts, luncheons and special interest round tables will be also scheduled in the exhibit hall.

Exhibitor Information

CDS Events and Expositions is ACPM’s official contractor. CDS Events and Expositions will send each applicant an Exhibitor Service Manual which will include detailed instructions on ordering additional booth furniture and shipping instructions. CDS Events and Expositions is responsible for labor arrangements, furniture rental, and placement of incoming and outgoing freight, signage and drayage service and will serve as the liaison between the exhibitor and other subcontractors (shipping, cleaning, electrical, etc.). CDS Events and Expositions will be on-site during set-up to ensure smooth operation of the exhibit hall.  All exhibit shipments should be pre-paid and addressed to the official contractor.
 

Booth Specifications:

Each booth will have:

  • A 10x10 shell structure with a 6’ skirted table and two chairs
  • 7”x 44” booth sign featuring your company name
  • 1 wastebasket
  • 8’ high back drape and 3’ high side dividers
